Our Founders
Pravin Bhandari
With over 25 years of experience in the dairy industry, Pravin Bhandari is the co-founder and driving force behind Amrutdhara Dairy. A topper from the College of Dairy Technology, Pusad, he built his early career in the operations teams of Amul and Dynamix Dairy, two institutions that shaped his understanding of large-scale, quality-first dairy production.
In 2001, he channelled that experience into founding Amrutdhara, starting with a small plant and a commitment to bringing fresh, hygienic dairy products to the people of Vidarbha. Today, Amrutdhara stands as one of the region’s largest dairy plants: a testament to his belief that when you lead from the front and never compromise on standards, the rest follows.
Praful Bhandari
Praful Bhandari is the co-founder of Amrutdhara Dairy, bringing over 20 years of experience across the food and dairy industry to the brand. He holds a graduation in Food Technology from the College of Food Technology, Parbhani, and a masters degree from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, where he also authored multiple research papers in the field.
Before co-founding Amrutdhara, Praful worked as an R&D engineer in the food industry and served as a guest lecturer and researcher at the College of Dairy Technology, Pusad. That combination of rigorous academic training and applied industry exposure gave him a deep understanding of food science that continues to inform how Amrutdhara approaches product quality, development, and consistency to this day.
